Help KONR get a new transmitter!
KONR-LP is different. It's weird. It's local. It's Alaskan.
We're an all-volunteer run low power FM radio station owned and operated by Out North Contemporary Art House - one of Anchorage's oldest nonprofit arts organizations.
Out North Radio - 106.1 FM officially relaunched with new programming in the spring of 2017. Since then, we've gathered a large community of volunteer DJs who are dedicated to supporting local artists, emerging talent and to bringing our community's diverse voices to the forefront.
We currently air 80 hours/wk of local content produced by volunteers. We air 40 hours/wk of only Alaskan music - more than ANY radio station in the state.
We're not owned by a corporation. We don't play commercials. Our future is dependent on supporters like you who believe in what we're trying to do.
Here's exactly what your donation will support:
- New transmitter to extend the signal throughout Anchorage
- Online streaming costs - Listen to KONR from anywhere!
- Studio space rental costs - We've got bills, too.
Thank you for choosing to support Out North Radio!
