We need your support for our future leaders!  Since 1937, the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) has provided resources, recognition, and networking opportunities for public administration officials and academia communities across the United States and globally.

The Section on Public Law and Administration (SPLA) is a specialized section of ASPA, chartered in 2001 (a 501(c)(3)), and focuses on engaging public law and administration within communities with annual networking and award events.  Our mission statement is “To engage in the development of the relationship between law and administration in order to invigorate public management and government performance.”

SPLA enacted the John A. Rohr Scholarship in 2012 and presents this award bi-annually in honor of its namesake who has contributed to the fields of public administration and political science, leading scholars and practitioners to a greater understanding of how law affects public administration and the responsibilities of public administrators in their jobs as implementers of the U.S. Constitution.

The $500.00 scholarship enables one graduate student to pursue development of practice and research in the field of public administration and law while simultaneously attending ASPA’s annual conference for exposure to other practitioners, academic and students.

With your help, this scholarship can be presented at our upcoming ASPA Annual Conference, March 17-21, 2017 at the Sheraton Hotel in Atlanta, GA .   Also, with your support, we hope to award multiple students on an annual basis. For more information on this and other awards presented and sponsors of SPLA annual events, please visit our website: http://www.aspaonline.org/spla

It would be wonderful if you would commit today and make your donation to the Rohr Scholarship Campaign to provide support for our future public leaders!  Will you join me by making your donation today?   All donors name will appear in our Program Book and website along with being tax deductible.   Questions: Please contact Ms. Dovie D.
