Hello, my name is Bill Joyce and I desperately need your help. I’m just shy of 70 years old and I’ve found myself in a situation that is bleeding my spirit dry.
I’m in significant pain from ruptured discs in my neck. The pain has left me severely incapacitated. In effect it surges down my arms and makes simple things like clicking a mouse truly unbearable. I desperately need to have spinal surgery in order to fuse cervical disks c3-c4, c5-c6 and c7. This will eliminate the pain. However Medicare are coming up short and I need to raise $4,000 to cover the necessary surgery and aftercare.
I had a previous request that was interrupted by someone who questioned my request. My doctor actuall listed me as disabled unti;l I have the surgery. Please see the surgeon's letter HERE: Disability Letter
I’ve always had a strong work ethic. I lost a business to Hurricane Katrina but I bounced back with a strong will to push on in spite of my difficulties. This led me to set up an online business, which was paying the bills. However The pain has become the mightiest adversary of all and right now it has literally bowled me over. Coupled with my recent hospitalization for a minoe stroke, I’m left with no alternative but to reach out to my friends and the public and large.
Any donation you could spare would be whole-heartedly appreciated. I need to get the surgery, put this condition behind me and get on with my life. The doctor has put me on permanent disability until my surgery as the letter has indicated
I think anyone that has experienced significant nerve pain will truly appreciate the predicament I am in. The fact this pain has impeded my ability to earn a living has compounded the duress I am dealing with.
