I am Antonio "Fennecai" Knapp, A Game developer, sound designer, story writer, video maker, artist, and child of God.
At age 4, I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome- more commonly known as Autism Spectrum Disorder. All my life, It has been a blessing and a curse. It has allowed me to see the world in vivid, wonderful, and unique ways. But when it comes to other things, my disability has proven to make my life more challenging. I currently live with my parents, because general life skills, such as cooking food and meeting new people face-to-face, are difficult for me.
In school, I was constantly bullied for my autism, by teachers and students alike. I would cope with these challanges by creating new worlds for others to enjoy. I would always look forward to the end of the day when I could go home and Create new ideas I had and experement with them through drawing, video making, story-writing, and other creative mediums.
When I was in middle school, I eventually found a new medium that encompassed all others, and it was the perfect way to express my inner worlds to the world around us: Game Development. It was then that I realized my true passion, and my dream was born.
my dream is to start an indie game development studio and make a living off my work, so I can get my own place to live, and live independant from my parents for the first time! I just need a nudge in the right direction.
This will mean so much for me because it will not just help me with my biggest project yet, but it will help me to reach my dream, and I will reach my greatest accomplishment.
Any help will be very greatly appreciated! even if you only give one dollar, or even if all you do is share this with your friends and family, it will still be a great blessing! Every dollar and share counts. :)
