Dance Support for Impoverished Women & Children

Donation protected
A dance movement dedicated to changing the lives of impoverished women and children across the world.

As part of International Women's History Month and International Women's Day, we have teamed up with ProDanceTV to fundraise for Soul Dancers charity.

We are a group of dancers from diverse backgrounds coming together to represent the lack of female representation in the dance community at competition level. As a way of paying it forward, we would like our efforts to raise awareness and funds for those who need it most.

Soul Dancer's mission is to provide an after-school program for impoverished children consisting of a nourishing meal, 30 minutes of basic English language training and 1 hour of fun, instructional dance, to share the gift of creative dance and bring joy to the most vulnerable children of the world.

Soul Dancer's aim to employ vulnerable women to run the programs thus providing life skills to enable independence and self-sustenance.

The majority of the work Soul Dancer's currently carried out is in the poorest areas of Columbia. An example of this work is in El Bohío de María: A girls orphanage in Copacabana, part of The Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley, at the north of the city. The girls here receive dance classes weekly to keep their spirits high and keep them physically fit.

The money raised will go towards continuing to fund the important work that Soul Dancer's deliver.
