Please keep our sister in your mind, your prayers . I'm asking all my friends , the authorities and the good people of Haiti to help us seek justice for this young lady. The perpetrators of this vicious CRIME must be broth to Justice regardless of who is protecting them. What was done to EVE in the confort of her own house was SAVAGE, DESPICABLE and should have never happened. The ACIDE might have disfigured her, broken her bones, BUT the EVE I spoke to few hours ago has showed me grace , hope and a willingness to stand tall in the mist of her tragedy. What can you do to help? Start by writing supporting message, share her story with your friends and family; Let make sure authorities from both countries are processing this matter with the sense of urgency that such heinous crime requires . Most importantly what we can do as a community is to provide the needed support for her intensif care. Many of you have already generously reacted in showing your support. let's keep that going.

DFM was granted full access for an EXCLUSIVE interview with Hawa Kassire, young woman brutally attacked at gun point in her own house in Haiti . The allegations made against her husband in this interview are serious, extremely damaging and will required a full attention of all competent authorities both in the US and HAITI.

DFM also reached out to her husband, Mr.VUNDLA SIKHUMBUSO, presently Chief of Operations at The Episcopal Diocese of Haiti ; but the request for interview was rejected. We have therefore made the conscientious decision to share the full version of the interview with our audience.

BACKGROUND

Ms. Eve KASSIRE was brutally attacked with acid in her own house in Haiti . She was transferred to the USA for intensive care. Following multiple reconstructive surgeries and various medical operations, her status is now seems stable, but she remains in critical condition.

WARNING !

Dear friends,
Few months ago, we initiated SOS EVE to support HAWA KASSIRE, this young woman from CHAD brutally attacked in her house in HAITI. As result of this savage attack and the corrosive liquid used on her by the aggressors; HAWA was totally disfigured and had to be evacuated in Memphis, TN for intensive care and several reconstructive surgeries. Thanks God, she is doing much better, but her road to complete recovery from this traumatizing experience is far from over,
Sadly we have learned this week, that Memphis Regional one Hospital, asked her to leave the Intensive Care unit, due to unpaid medical bills totaling over 1 Million of $.
By writing you, I'm not simply betting on your generosity, humanity and compassion; but more importantly on our collective capacity, in times like this, to rally behind a common goal and achieve it.

Today, HAWA KASSIRE needs our support and financial aid to pay for all this medical procedures. Without your generosity and the help of both Chadian and US authorities, she won’t be able to pay the full medical bills.

I’m also taking this opportunity to reach out to the First Lady of Chad, HINDA DEBY ITNO and her Foundation GRAND COEUR for help and assistance on humanitarian basis. We need your leadership and support in making a difference for our sister HAWA KASSIRE.

The new goal for our SOS EVE is to raise $1. Million to paid for the medical bills.
Please share the information with your friends and organizations.

Can I count on YOU?
