SOS Pets of Ouachita

If you've been to the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter, you may have left in tears. The inherent design issues in the 1950's structure are not at all pet-friendly. There has been no funding for a new shelter. All of that is about to change! We are a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit group that is raising funds to build a new shelter. The facility will be built in phases, as money becomes available.
We won't have a firm budget in place until the site survey and soil analysis are completed. At that time, we will then share the details of each phase and associated costs. We started with a $10K goal to get the ball rolling, and we just increased it to $250K, since that is a likely ballpark figure to see some construction activity take place!
We will sincerely appreciate any donation, no matter how small or large, and the animals will love you!
