Sophors' Family Surgery Fund

Mr. Nhe Sophors is a Community Support Officer working with the Chicken Raising and Financing Futures Projects at Buddhism for Social Development Action, or BSDA in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. Sophors is a key staff member of BSDA who works closely with GlobeMed at the University of Denver, and has shown his commitment to his community and organization.
His wife has recently been diagnosed with heart failure, and needs surgery as soon as possible. However, Mr. Nhe Sophors and his family do not have the funds to pay for the surgery, and their doctor has postponed surgery until they are able to pay.
BSDA has asked for donations to go directly to Sophors' family to help cover these medical expenses. The donations received through this page are in no way affiliated with GlobeMed at the University of Denver, however, as members of a partnership, we want to see the best possible outcomes for the family members of those we work so closely with.
A break down of the total expenses is as follows. To date, about $1,500 has been raised, but this still leaves a significant amount due before Sophors is able to pay for the surgery.
Any donation is sufficient, and we know that Sophors as well as the whole community at BSDA will greatly appreciate any money you are able to give.

3) Other Medical Expenditures : 1,000 USD
4) Other spending : 1,200 USD
= Total spending : 7,690 USD
