Sophie's quest.

Donation protected
This campaign has started due to a recent note my daughter Sophie created by herself. This note was for the purposes of raising funds to help her little sister, Ruby and other children with a disability or sick in hospital.

Amidst the continuous stress and concern you carry as a parent and caregiver of a child with complex needs, you sometimes forget (just for a moment!) the immense strength, adaptability, courage and feeling of helplessness of your other child/ren.  They too want to help and make a difference.

Sophie's sister Ruby is eight and has never spoken to Sophie, never been able to tell her how much she loves her or frustrates her! Ruby has never been able to hug Sophie or play dolls. Ruby is unable to enjoy the same foods as Sophie, which makes her sad at times and they have never been able to play chase or enjoy the park equipment together. Despite the many challenges, medical interventions and 24/7 care needs- Sophie is always there for Ruby and plays the protective big sister.

So, to help Sophie with her quest and mission in her young life (at this point in time) i'd like to extend her note to you and ask if you can help in any way possible, to support Ruby and many children like Ruby in our world, please do!

Funds will go toward much needed therapy costs, medical needs, equipment, social activities that they can share together and any other supports the child may need. Sophie would love to visit children in hospital and take them a little treat to make them smile!

Please help me share Sophie's Quest.

Thank you.
