Some peace for Rio

On Saturday of January 21st 2017 our 5 month old Chihuahua puppy Rio was attacked and killed by a large dog in Crystal Palace Park.
He was attacked and carried off in the mouth of a dog in front of his owner and her 9-year-old son as well as many fellow dog walkers and died in the mouth of the dog in question. Despite a crowd of people trying to save Rio from the dog, we were unable to get get the dog to release him. Unfortunately the owner took off with his two large dogs and the police have been notified.
The case is currently open and we're hoping to find the owner and protect other dogs or children from further attacks.
Rio's owner is a single mother and is vulnerable in terms of her health. Rio was such a loving and trusting boy, he loved everyone he met and loved to sleep in the arms of anyone who held him. So many of our family and friends have met and fallen in love with him and we are all devastated for Sophie and her son for having to witness such a tragedy and for the loss they are suffering.
Sophie is unfortunately unable to afford the vet fees to have Rio cremated or to bury him. Rio currently is wrapped in his blanket and kept in a safe temperature while we try to raise the money to get him cremated so we can give him a proper send off at his favorite park by the Lake.
The cost of the crematorium is £200 and I hope to raise that over the next 24 hours so we can get Rio cremated and out of his blanket.
I would also like to raise the funds to get Sophie and her son a new puppy, and while we know Rio can never be replaced, a new dog can bring new happiness and experiences into Sophie's.
We will also be releasing pictures of the owner and asking for help in identifying this man as well as the dog after he fled the scene.
