Somaliland Drought

I am currently in Togdheer region of somaliland and i have taken the iniative to raise money for the severe drought that is effecting thousands of rural population in Togdheer, Sool and Sanaag region.
As a result of the failed rains, there has been poor crop production, acute shortage of water and death of livestock- a key source of livelihood for communities in somaliland.
The Rural populations in western and eastern Sanaag have already lost the major part of their livestock assets. The assistance response is very inadequate considering the magnitude of the growing drought problem.
These rural population is experiencing a severe drought that requires immidiate food and water distribution. We are doing what we can here in togdheer but we need people to donate as much as possible. No amount is too small.
Giving just a little of what you have can benefit you and someone else. This is sadaqa and it will benefit us in this duniya and akhira!!!
