Social Media Kindness COINS - WOW!

We are the original Pay It Forward organization founded by the author of Pay It Forward, Catherine Ryan Hyde. Many of you know of the movie which followed shortly thereafter. PAY IT FORWARD is the simple concept of performing  an act of kindness to another in need and asking for nothing in return, except that when the recipient is able that they find another person in need and help them. This has allowed countless act of kindness to spread around the world over the last seventeen years in some amazing ways.


Now with your help we want to take this concept one step further. What if each of us were able to set in motion a KINDNESS CHAIN that you could watch travel locally and then HAVE THE POSSIBILITY TO GROW GLOBALLY. We want to do just that.


We designed these coins, each with their own personal code. The original holder will create an Online Profile for the coin sharing its meaning or purpose. Then when you do a kind act for someone, you or the recipient enters the Coin's Code on the website and share the kind story along with pictures or videos. It record the location of the coin so you can watch it travel each time a new act of kindness is performed. The best part is, everytime the coin is passed, every person who held the coin previously will get an email showing the new story. We will also CONNECT the coins TO your social media accounts to allow the stories that your started inspire your friends and family.



Coins will be used to not only do kind acts, but the coin's profiles/purpose can be used to honor a lost loved one, or a lost pet, to celebrate an occasion like a wedding or special birthday, to bring attention to a medical condition and to support our troops and first responders. Those in the chain will also be able to donate to support special causes and to allow for further acts of kindness by the Pay It Forward Foundation.

The special coins will act a little like a message in a bottle that you can watch being picked up and thrown back to sea until the next finder shares their coin story.
