The Million Dollar Survival Fund

In 2005 while trekking in the Himalayas I learnt of the plight of the Snow Leopard and it was a discovery that I could not ignore.

The clock is ticking - there may be less than 4,000 snow leopards left in the wild, and if we don't act fast, they may be gone soon. 

This cat is threatened by poaching, retribution killings by livestock holders, and the loss of suitable habitat and prey.

The species’ survival was, and still is, challenged by a need to provide significantly more funding for its conservation.

This is where you and I come in! Ten years ago, I decided to combine my love of the spirits industry with my desire to contribute towards snow leopard conservation. I founded a premium spirit brand whose profits would benefit these magnificent cats.
 
I am very proud that within a few years we have been able to donate over $250,000 to on-the-ground conservation initiatives run by the Snow Leopard Trust: anti-poaching trainings for park rangers, predator-proof corrals and livestock insurance for farmers to end retribution killings, and education programs for kids to inspire the next generation of conservationists.

Now, it's time to take this effort to the next level! With your help, I want to raise over $1 million for the conservation of these cats - enough to scale up the Trust's proven conservation programs so they protect a viable population of these magnificent cats into the future!
