Michelle McDonald is the strongest woman Ive ever known. She has been dealt with more bad fortune in the last five years than any person should ever have to deal with in their entire life.
Five years ago her son Chase was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, which is a form of bone cancer. About a year later and many trips to St Jude's in Memphis they thought he had it beat, but it came back and in the last 6 weeks it has become extremely aggresive. So much so that they have stopped all treatment and unfortunately the doctors do not think there's any chance he will make it until the end of the year.
On April 18th, 2015 Michelle's youngest son Tyler took his own life while she was at work. He was 15 years old. Chase and Michelle's daughter Alyssa found him.
As you can imagine times are extremely difficult for this family right now. Many great friends have chipped in to cover Tyler's funeral expense this Thurs, but she will unfortunately have another funeral to pay for likely within the next few weeks or at most months. I will probably be able to scrape together enough to cover a portion of that one too but I'd really like for her to be able to take at least a month or two off work to be able to spend time with Chase before he passes, and her other two kids need her at home right now as well.
If anyone would be willing to help out, any amount would be sincerely appreciated. Even $5-$10 here and there can add up quick. If you cant afford to donate, sharing this would also be appreciated as well as your positive thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for reading and for any help you can provide.
