Hello Family & Friends!
It’s some of your favorite future RN’s here! If you haven’t heard by now, we are weeks away from completing the RN program at SMCC (Are we the only ones counting down to May?!?)
It has been a long journey for us. We have often had to prioritize classes, clinicals and endless studying over seeing our friends and sometimes our family- putting just about everything on hold in order to finish nursing school and become an RN!
The semesters have flown by (and somehow we survived), and we are now planning our graduation ceremonies! In addition to the traditional graduation ceremonies, nurses also celebrate by holding a pinning ceremony. A pinning ceremony is a symbolic welcoming of newly graduated nurses into the nursing profession. At our pinning ceremony we will each be pinned by a loved one who has helped us through it all.
Here’s where you come in! We are ultimately poor college students. In addition to all the support and encouragement you have given us over the past years, we could use your help once again! It would be lovely if you were able to write a message to your beloved future RN and donate a little (we will also take a lot!) to our graduation fund (all $ goes directly towards our graduation). Think of it as an investment in your future! These are the people you are going to ask every medical question you will have for the next 42 years :)
