Autism/medical Assistance Pup 4 Leo

This is Leo, 

Leo was Born Premature at 31 weeks and was later diagnosed with Laryngomalatia, Stenosis of his airway and Central Sleep APONEA, He get sick very easily with croup 20 times in the last 6 months to be precise we are lucky enough to have the most amazing team of medical experts looking after us from his Respiatory Specialist to his ENT his endocrinologist  his Paeditritian and last but not least our AMAZING GP who care for him.

Dealing with this was ok we get through it you have to as a parent. But we are exhausted.

It was when he was 2 and we were at his Paeditritian and she said have you noticed any of these things in Leo that my alarm bells rang. See his older brother has Autism but had totally different symptoms to what Leo was showing so I was not seeing it at all I felt like the worst mother in the world. I will never forget that moment when my heart skipped a few beats when she reeled off common signs of Autism to which I said Yes to all.

He was then formally tested and he was diagnosed with Autism, ADHD (his lack of sleep contributes to that) Auditory processing disorder and other processing disorders this along with his medical conditions. His Paeditritian explained it as firecrackers going off inside his head.

We my husband Jason his big sister Gabby and Big Brother Ethan all do everything we can to help him sometimes this means the bigger kids miss out on things because taking him to say the show is not somewhere he would be able to cope with he cant even cope at the movie cinema pretty much anything that involves going out is something we avoid so we dont have to deal with the judgement of others from his unstable moods. 

After a lot of research on various things from oils to this I applied for a Smart Pup in April for Leo and from all of the people who applied he was chosen. Its an 18 month process from when we raise the 20k and right now I can see how it would help him so so much it would actually change his life. This smart pup will help him have less meltdowns and make it easier for our family to feel as normal as possible not stressed. 

These Funds will go to SMART PUPS as a donation to them Specifically for Leo's Pup as soon as we have raised that $20k a Pup will be chosen specifically for him based on his needs and and trained especially for him I have added a video ofhis Laryngomalatia Journey which we are still going through currently waiting on another operation.
