Parkinson's Awareness Through Magic

A native of Detroit, MI, I have always been fascinated by magic and sleight of hand.  In 2013, I was diagnosed with early onset Atypical Parkinson’s which sent my life into a tailspin.  Nearly every aspect of mylife changed as the disease progressed.  Basic daily routines became interrupted as I was forced to use my non-dominant hand to do nearly everything.

I assumed my magic days were over due to the loss of dexterity and slowness of motion which are symptoms of this specific type of Parkinson’s.  Instead of giving up my passion for magic, however, I realized that I could adjust my technique and would just have to be twice as good.  In the spirit of making the best of a difficult situation, I decided to use magic to raise awareness about Parkinson's disease.

Slow Motion Magic was born.

Although my YouTube channel is growing, I realize my production quality is greatly lacking. I am hoping to raise money for camera and lighting equipment. With your help Slow-Motion Magic can not only be great,  but do great things to aid in awareness and funding for Parkinson's Research.
