Thanks to Tracy Larocque ( my sister) with her total dedication and hands on approach. Without her kind soul and dedicated spirit  she brings to our table,  it certainly  would not be a reality.
Welcome to the official Roger and Tatum Foundation homepage, a Foundation dedicated to aiding the ill, disenfranchised, and in need. The first project the foundation resolves to undertake is in regards to the Canadian homeless population, specifically those residing in Central-Eastern Canada, in the cities of Montreal and Toronto. For more information on what we’re working on, we implore you to browse our  website at www.rogertatum.ca .

The impetus for the Roger and Tatum foundation arose out of the desire of siblings to utilize their personal entrepreneurial success to help advance altruistic aims.

At the Roger and Tatum Foundation we believe that while our nation provides basic social services and assistance to all citizens, there is need for more altruism, and aid specifically regarding the provision of basic human needs. We believe every human being deserves a warm place to sleep and a hot meal. Our aims are quite simple: we want to provide those things, and one day evolve into an organization that fights larger battles, including providing assistance to cancer sufferers and other fatal illnesses.

Slowly, but with total confidence we will make a difference for those who have no real place to call home. It doesn't matter, we can help and bring this to the level in which they will feel warm and comfortable. We are now ordering more bags from a project in Detroit called The empowerment plan. We will use these sleeping bags/coats in the interim. Our goal long term is to manufacture a heavy duty bag with total waterproofing. The bags we are using can be found here at http://www.empowermentplan.org/

Things are going well. Thanks to all who have donated to this date. Our first 5 sleeping bags have arrived and we will be posting photos on our site of those that received them. Our site is www.rogertatum.ca
This is a great cause especially now since its so cold. Our long term goal for this project, one of many, is to create custom made sleeping bag made of the best waterproof durable material, sandwich heavy duty down fill stuffing in 4 inch pockets . Take two sides of these and install a heavy duty zipper to keep them together. Alternatively, with a gps tracker to exchange the bags when they get dirty or just left on the road. Ultimately, getting the spec to the point where it can become a universal tool for any organization globally that requires cold management for these people who need warmth. We will be keeping all of you posted when our complete website has a blog. In the meantime, please share with friends or companies.
