Hello Everybody!
I have some exciting news for all of you!
Me and my friends decided to do some fundraising, and a skydive in aid of charity.
Our aim is to raise money to help the unfortunate little guys and girls and the fabulous people who are looking after them at West Yorkshire Dog Rescue. Everyone involved with West Yorkshire Dog Rescue does an amazing job every day, caring for all these fur babies that need a loving forever home, so we wanted to do our bit and raise some cash and more awareness for this fantastic charity!
As we are all working at Barnsley Vets4Pets we deal with West Yorkshire Dog Rescue on a daily basis and we are truly amazed how they would do everything for those lovely doggies. They look after them just like they would be their own pets! Most of them needs ongoing treatment and permanent attention, but these ladies are always smiling and it is obvious how much they enjoy their jobs and love those puppies!
At the practice we always take donations for them like dog food, leads, harnesses and toys, but if you would like to contribute towards their increasing vet bills, please donate some money here! It would be much appreciated. We also have donation boxes on both of the receptions at Barnsley Vets4Pets (look for the cloud shaped donation pots)!
Please help us to help them! Also my lovely colleagues are equally excited and terrified because of the skydive, so they could use some encouragement!
These brave ladies are going to do the skydive on the 26th of June at Hibaldstow. We will make sure to keep you posted with pictures and videos! If anybody would like to come and support the ladies at the drop site, please do not hesitate to contact us here or in person at the practice for some more details.
Please note that we are paying for the skydive ourselves, so every penny raised from you lovely people will go straight to West Yorkshire Dog Rescue!
