Stephen Kings: Strawberry Spring

Hello my name is Kohl V. Bladen; I am the Writer/Director for Strawberry Spring. I am starting this Gofundme Campaign to reach out to those who support film/art/media projects and I am asking for help to raise funds for the film's budget. The film industry has always and will always be a tough nut to crack. It's not an easy task for aspiring filmmakers to achieve notoriety as a director and to have their films become known. I'm giving this "campaign thing" a try because I am a horror/thriller director and though I have been told I am talented and have a filmmaking style of Carpenter and Hitchcock, I still have never had anyone to back any of my projects and give me a chance to shine. I contacted Stephen King about making "Strawberry Spring" into a film and luckily enough, he's given me the thumbs up. Though I have the okay from him, there are many stipulations as far as the film needing to be non-profit; I am only aloud to gain notoriety with the film....the one thing I've wanted since stepping behind the camera. To know I have someone like Stephen on my side, means I might actually have a fighting chance. I am looking for a small budget of $10,000.00 to completely film, edit, and pay for festival entries.  I have made films on budgets of $1,000.00 or less, which have come from my own pocket, but I do not have the means to do so now. I mean who has that kind of money lying around? But with $10,000.00, I can get a great cast, crew, and be able to really make a polished project, which this story deserves. While alive, Alfred Hitchcock never received notoriety for any of his classic horror/thriller films. I think a lot of movies within the genre today are gory, sex filled, trashy versions of what horror and thriller films once were.  With your help, I am hoping I can one day bring back true suspense, well written stories, quality filmmaking, and class that has been lost for over 30+ years. Below I have linked some completed work of mine to give you an idea of what I am capable of one very small budgets. The second video, "Face in the Window" was completely shot on an Iphone 4S.
