Sisters Day Out is a one-day workshop which builds resilience and self-esteem among Aboriginal women and breaks down barriers to reporting violence. FVPLS Victoria is seeking urgent donations to #saveSistersDayOut

Did you know?
- Aboriginal women are 34x more likely to be hospitalised because of family violence and 10x more likely to die from a violent assault than other women.
- Family violence is the primary driver to Aboriginal children being placed in out of home care.

Our women share many stories about how Sisters Day Out has impacted their lives, one sister shares her experience about being believed...
“I was able to share what I went through knowing there were people there that care, to know there is help and that I was believed was something I haven’t experienced before, thank-you for bringing Sisters Day Out to my community”

Sisters Day Out has reached over 7000 Aboriginal women Victoria wide and now we’re calling for your support to keep this vital program running!
