SING (Shift Into a New Gear)

I have found a cause that is dear to my heart. Lynard Joiner is a man that is organizing a prison mission. He is helping long term inmates return to society. He wants to start when the prisoner has about two years left with classes on getting a job, finding housing, returning to the family, etc. In Illinois the return to prison rate for released prisoners is very high. The prisoners in Lynard's group are highly likely (over 95%) to remain a productive member of society and stay out of trouble. Lynard needs a space to set up his program. The city has offered him a house that needs work for $7000 and he will need about $3000 to fix it up. The money that Lynard gets from his job at the Big Brothers/Big Sisters is used to help as many people as he can. Several hundred people have benefitted from his program already and he just wants to help more people.
