Showing up for Dustin

Sometimes a person in your community has a run of bad luck that feels insurmountable; Dustin Bailey Saucier - champion of Emo Night, Singer/Player of All The Feels in All The Bands (currently Pretty Sad, Cape Cannons), lover AND creator of sad songs, and all around thoughtful, empathetic, kind dude - is that person today. 



Dustin is a true fighter, and it doesn't feel right to say he "needs" our help - but if we were in his shoes right now, help would feel amazing and, possibly, get Dustin back on his feet so we can see and hear him play music again real soon.

In the past year, Dustin has been diagnosed with several serious medical conditions, was terminated from his job for being a responsible person and visiting doctors/caring for himself and thereby "missing too much work" (capitalism sucks, this sucks), and now, as he has been struggling every day to make changes to improve his life, his car has broken down, and it's just too much money for him to fix at the moment. 



So Dustin wants to sell his gear to raise some money, but a musician without gear is like coffee with no cup - the goodness is there, but how are you supposed to ingest it without the right tools? 

SeepeopleS' Maine Family (Will, Ian, Dan, Will Holland, Brooke, VK, Jess, Liam, Chelsea, Dubby, Ziggy and all of our righteous community) know all too well that when disaster strikes - as it so often does - you gotta get bywith a little help from your friends. 



If you can spare a couple bucks for Dustin so he doesn't have to sell you his amps, step on up. Our music community here in Portland would not be the same without Dustin. He is an organizer, a player, a hub in our wheel of humans, he's a friend and the dude knows what's up. He's got emotions, and he uses them for GOOD. So we're asking today for the same from our friends, neighbors, family and music community to show Dustin how much we care.
