Shine is an organisation providing free education and social support to Cambodian children and their famillies in need. Our aim is to empower people to enable them to escape the poverty cycle.
We desperately need regular funds to pay the salaries of our staff, now teaching over 80 students a day.
Without the staff, Shine will not exist.
A proportion of the funds raised so far will provide much needed transportation so the students do not have to walk miles per day to school or miss it completely when the monsoon is too heavy or the heat too intense.
As I managed and worked on the development and structure of the previous organisation for two years, I now have the capabilities and the foundations set in place to continue free lessons the children in the local area, a wellbeing centre to provide holistic health care and social support, along with a food programme.
Our goals are in line with UNICEF's and Cambodia's Government goals to end the poverty cycle in rural areas.
Please help give Cambodia's future generation the education that every child should be entitled to. Give them the chance to shine.
