In Memory of Sherry Diane Teer

In March, Josh and Sherry Teer had a baby boy that they named Levi Wade Teer. Sadly, Sherry passed away due to complications in childbirth. When I heard the news about Sherry's passing, I just couldn't believe it. And I could not imagine the hurt Josh Teer and Sherry's family must be feeling as they grieve over the loss of Sherry and are dealing with everything still happening with Baby Levi.  At that point, the funeral expenses were the major concern. But thanks to all of these generous donations the funeral expenses have been taken care of. 

Now the next concern is taking care of Baby Levi and Josh. Baby Levi is still in the NICU and is expected to remain there for a least a couple more weeks. The most recent MRI did show some abnormal results and signs of oxygen deprivation, but it was not unexpected. Because Levi's brain is still developing, there is a possibility that it could get better over time or it may not. There is alos concern about trying bottle feeding because of his muscles being weak in his trunk region and his neck/throat. Because of this, there is a possibility of needing a feeding tube for Josh to be able to feed Levi at home.

Regardless of what happens one thing is clear, there are going to be more expenses that Josh is going to need help with. It is amazing how many people have come together to help Josh and Baby Levi in memory of Sherry. I know Josh has told me on more than one occasion that he just cannot even begin to find the words to express how grateful he is. I know Sherry is smiling down from Heaven and watching over everyone.

But our work is not done! I have raised the goal again so that we can work on helping Josh cover medical expenses, make up for lost work, and cover general bills and baby needs. Please remember to continue to share this page so that everyone can stay up to date on the latest Josh and Levi news!
