Sherita and Nick's CO to CA Tour

It all started on March 6th, 2016. I went to a quiet bar downtown to see a singer/songwriter perform that I had heard so much about. This is where I met Sherita Perez. She was sitting by herself, strumming away on her guitar. I walked up and introduced myself then went to the bar for a drink. It seemed as though the PA was having issues. She said, "Well, I don't like starting my set late so here we go..." Next thing I know she is walking up and down the bar, singing to everyone's soul that was lucky enough to be there. That's the moment I fell in love.
Flash forward to nearly 6 months later and we are about to embark on our first country wide tour together. I play drums for her and she is my girlfriend. Between my band Sik Mule and her band, I spend all of my free time away from my day job pursuing my dream of being a full time musician. Sherita lives that dream. She engineered this idea. The idea is to share beautiful experiences with beautiful people in beautiful places. Pagosa Springs, CO to Los Angeles, CA. We will be travel blogging a long the way. If all goes well, we can achieve our collective dream of doing this full time for a living.
I created this GoFundMe because we need your help in getting gear for the tour, new tires, and preventing emergencies on the road. So please, friends, family and future friends/family, even a $5 donation will help out. We hit the road September 29th. We can not wait to share these experiences with you! The world needs more positivity out there! Hopefully we can bring the vibes a little higher...
