Sheri's Disability Emergency Fund

I’m a young 60-year-old woman that recently had surgery for a broken caller bone. I also have nerve damage in my spine from the bone pinching the nerves.

One evening two months ago, after taking a bath, I slipped and fell while getting out of the tub and I broke my caller bone.

I am now living on a small disability check. I receive $100 less than my $900.00 for rent. I have always worked, been dependable and always happy to be outside. Now, my doctor say's I will no longer be able to work, so I had to leave my place of employment. I worked there for 5 years and planned to retire from there.

I’m in a lot of pain, so I am having trouble cleaning my house and doing some of my daily activities. I live alone and have no one to help me. Surgeon expects 1 year before I will be able to go back to work.

My disability check comes and it all goes for rent. I need help to pay the extra $100.00 for rent, electric bill, phone bill, general supplies, toiletries, etc.

I am so afraid of my landlord giving me an eviction notice if I do not come up with the rest of the rent. I was $100.00 short last month and had no money for anything else. I will be short again this month as well.

I know there that there are generous people out there that can get me through this rough time in my life. My wonderful neighbor has been helping me with rides to doctors and the grocery store.

Please help me with any amount. If 1000 people helped me with$1.00 I could get thru a couple of months.
