Shawn's and My New Apartment Home
Hello, my name is Margo Hopper. I'm a 27-year-old autistic/Asperger's woman who has lived in Minnesota her entire life. Recently, my boyfriend Shawn Meadows, whom I have been dating for nearly six years, moved up to Minnesota from Kentucky in order to be with me in person. We have been looking together for a place to live and we finally think we may have found our perfect apartment.
We have enough money for the first month's rent, but the apartment may or may not require a double deposit, which we cannot currently afford. We have enough saved up for the first month's rent but afterward we might need the additional funds for a deposit as well as the rent we are paying once we actually will move in. I have taken this into consideration as well.
The apartment is a beautiful place called Lord Fletcher's, which is off of Lake Minnetonka. The rent and board we can afford monthly no problem but we need one little push to get in the doors themselves. We are very eager and desparate to move, as I am currently in an unstable environment and so is Shawn; we are currently not living together either which has been our goal since Shawn first got here. All we really want is to live together, in peace, in our own special apartment home. It's been our dream for years. It's time we made it come true.
We primarily need the funds within the next five or six days, as five business days is the limit on when the down payment is due after approval. Please help us meet our goal!
If we do manage to reach our intended goal by the time it's needed...we will be so happy, and I hope everyone who donates will be happy too. You helped a young couple move into their first apartment home and a good one at that. Thank you for your help!
