Shave for a School

Hi All,

My name is Graeme Redding, and I have been growing my beard since October 2013.  I am raising money to shave my beard and donate the proceeds to Narbethong State Special School.   

Narbethong State Special School caters for students who are vision impaired, deaf blind, or blind and with additional disabilities.  The dedicated staff are committed to providing the best educational outcomes for their students using an ‘active learning’ methodology.  The staff are always looking for new and exciting ways to teach their students but as with most government institutions, funding and budgets can limiting.  It is important to me that these students are afforded as many opportunities possible to be cared for and blossom under the guidance of this committed group of teachers.  The money raised will go towards better equipment and facilities that will teach the kids how to understand and interact in the world around them, or simply just to make them smile. 

I would like to have this money raised by 21st May 2016. On this night the school will be hosting its annual Narbethong Fundraising Trivia night and I would like to present the principal with a cheque, and shave my beard in front of the attendees.

For those who know me, my beard is one of my prized treasures and not many people have seen me without it.  Sacrificing my facial hair is a small price to pay for these students and their dedicated teachers who care so deeply about their welfare. 

I would be eternally grateful to all of those who donate.  100% of your donation is going to these wonderful students and any denomination is greatly appreciated.
