Shattered Lives of Doña Ana County
The name of the program is based on the national statistic that every 15 minutes someone in the United States is killed due to an alcoholic related crash. Although statistics have changed to reflect an alcohol related death occurring every 53 minutes the original name is poignant. The very first program was held in April of 1999 and has been held every year at a different area high school since that time
This very powerful and dramatic program will be conducted on March 15-16, 2018, at Oñate High School.
The program is designed to battle teens’ involvement with alcohol, and specifically, to make teens aware of the serious consequences of drinking and driving.
The Shattered Lives of Doña Ana County program is a tremendous undertaking, which could not possibly take place without community support and your willingness to make a generous donation.
We sincerely appreciate your support.
Perhaps we can, together as a community, make the difference in whether one of our teens or other community members dies or is seriously injured in a crash.
