Shari Mattax & Carey Trabue Fund
On November 24th, 2016 Shari and Carey lost everything they own in a house fire. The did not have any insurance, so they literally have nothing to their names except each other and their dog. The also lost a dear friend in the fire, Jeanie Hudgins which only adds to the loss.
The red cross helped Shari with about a week in a motel then she was going to be homeless, that is when a awesome member of the Canby Now Facebook group stepped up and gave her a place to stay. Carey is currently in rehab due to carbon monixide burns.
They literally had only the clothes on their back, I delivered some clothes to Shari the other day from other members of Canby Now and she was so thankful, that she could finally change her clothes after wearing the same thing for over a week.
I haven't met Carey yet, but Shari is the sweetest lady ever, and they need a hand up.
My name is Lisa Leir and I am the adminastor of Canby Now facebook group, I'm just trying to help these two people. This fund is to help them restart their lives, the medical bills are building as we speak, and they need a home of their own. I'm hoping to raise 5k,No one will be able to touch the money donated except for Shari, as she will be the benifactor.
