"Yes! Because...", my solo show featuring Dame June Bloom and her alter ego Fairy Bessie sharing songs, stories and Shakespeare's sonnets while ruminating about life, mothers and jet lag - among other things.
We have been invited to perform in Edinburgh for one night only, 21st September, and need to raise enough money by then, to cover our expenses - travel and accommodation for myself and Susannah Finzi, my stage manager. We are both pensioners, loving what we do but not in a position to pay out just to create our art.
Unless we raise this money, we just can't go. So we would be most grateful for any support you feel you can provide.
All contributors of £5 or more will receive a copy of "The Songs from Yes! Because..." - 6 tracks with 7 songs.
For £10 you guarantee a ticket to see the show (for yourself or a friend), or you could have 2 copies of the CD.
For £20 you can have a pair of earrings (amber from Krakov for as long as they are available, valued at £32, handmade by me).
For £30, I'll perform at your next fund-raising event.
Whatever you can afford to share, I will be in your debt forever.
