Joe's Medical Fund

Short story: Joe was severely  burned over 60% of his body and could use your support.  We would appreciate your help.

Long story:  West Islip resident Joe Bacchi was injured in a home accident late last year. Joe suffered severe burns over 60% of his body. Thanks to the quick response of our courageous emergency service workers, Joe was successfully airlifted to Stoney Brook Hospital burn care unit. He has been in the hospital since December 28, 2016. He will have to go through several months of intensive therapy.

Unfortunately, Joe’s employee, for whom he has worked for the past 25 years, is unable to provide him any monetary support. His wife, Maria, is saddled with the physical and emotional stress of this horrible accident, as well as the immense financial burden of Joe’s care.

We are hoping that you, Joe’s friends and neighbors, can find it in your heart to give, whatever you are able, to help him and his family through these hard times.
