Today has been an unimaginable day, not only for the Varela family but for the countless number of people who chose to share their special day with this family and revel in  a part of Idaho history. It’s with a twisted gut and an aching heart we watch such a beautiful structure come down. Not one of us can predict these types of events but we can all share in the impact they have. Whether you personally knew the Varela’s and knew what a stake this operation holds in their livelihood or if you were blessed enough to call this majestic place your own for a day, please help us in sending our condolences and help to restore Settlers Creek to the gem it once was. Although we’ve lost a regal example of our forefathers, the same heart and soul lives on through the dedication the Varela family gives to land and life. All support is immensely appreciated and as close friends to the family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
