On Monday, July 15th at approximately 4:15 p.m., an electrical fire broke out and quickly ravaged the Egg Harbor Township home of Jennifer and Michael Servis and their teenage daughters, Kayla, 17, and Ashley, 15. Fortunately, only Michael was home and was able to get out safely, but the family has lost nearly everything. Jennifer and Michael are extremely concerned about their daughters and the toll this will take on their young hearts and minds. Any financial support friends, family and the community can provide would be an enormous relief as they rebuild their lives.
Jennifer recently took a full-time job working for a physician’s office. One of her first thoughts after the fire was to send a friend out to buy her new scrubs so she could go back to work – that is how dedicated Jennifer is to those who depend on her. Unfortunately, she must now take unplanned time off of work, adding to the burden of this already devastating experience.
Please lend your support to the Servis Family. They are long-time residents of this community and would do anything for anyone. Jennifer has always been an active volunteer and PTO member throughout her children’s school career. Most recently she has served as president of the PTO at Chartertech High School, organizing fundraisers and special experiences like EHTHS Project Graduation for students. Your generous support will help them survive the aftermath of this devastating loss so they can move forward.
