Help Students Volunteer in Ecuador

Travel is transformative - it opens our eyes to a world of possibilities, to deeper compassion and understanding. Exploring new locations, learning from local citizens, and service within small communities are life changing, especially for teenagers. Teenagers who often feel disenfranchised and impotent. Teenagers who don't understand how much they can do, and how much their efforts can impact the lives of those around them.
In April of 2018, I will embark on a journey with 16-20 students from Nute High School, in Milton, NH. Many of these students have never boarded an airplane; some have never traveled outside of New England. Together, we will travel to Ecuador, where they will not only experience the world in an entirely new way, but will act as stewards of humanity, providing volunteer service for a local community in the Amazon Basin.
These are students who want to make a difference in the lives of people they have never met. These are students who are working extra hours at their jobs, and families who are stretching budgets to make it possible, and every little bit helps. Your donations will help reduce the total cost of the students' trip, which includes everything from airfare and hotel expenses, to native guides and educational sessions with local communities and experts throughout Ecuador.
