Serenity Burns Victim
Donation protected
Serenity is only 2 years old and was on a family camping trip with friends.
Serenity was following her father through the camping grounds, only a short distance from the camp fire pit when she lost her footing and stumbled forward, tripping over the rocks surrounding the fire pit. Serenity landed in the middle of the burning coals. Serenity’s father was standing close by but was unable to stop her from falling but rushed to her aid. Thanks to a close friend who got to her quicker, she was pulled out of the burning hot coals and water was washed over her within seconds.
Serenity received severe burns to both hands, her forearm and both legs and is now recovering in the Lady Cilento Hospital Burns Unit.
The recovery for Serenity is going to be a long and hard one for her and her family. She deserves to get every chance there is available to her for a complete and full recovery.
The financial burden of this tragic accident is going to be stressful and ongoing for this young family so any donation small or big would help to go towards medical costs, fuel, parking, food and any other expenses that comes up and lessen the burden of worry.
So please if you can find it in your hearts to donate some money to help this beautiful girl and her family it would be greatfully received and appreciated.
