Sense of Tumour- Walking Club

Donation protected
As you know earlier this year I was diagnosed with a brain tumour and have since undergone surgery ,radiation and chemotherapy in order to fight this horrible disease. I'm one of the lucky ones who caught it early. Others are not so lucky. In the U.K. brain cancer is the biggest cancer killer of people under 40 yet receives only 1% of the funding. I would imagine stats are similar here in Ireland. I have been raising awareness recently and would now like to fundraise for Brain Tumour Ireland. This foundation was created by a family who lost a loved one to a brain tumour. They have a fantastic website which has great information and support for anyone who is diagnosed. This weekend is the annual Brain Tumour Ireland run / walk event to fundraise for work in supporting brain tumour patients and their families. Since the operation the only exerciseI could do is walking. Luckily I have some great pals and they have joined me over the past few months in the "walking club". On November 6th we will take a break from the streets of Ballincollig and head to Dublin for this sponsored walk. I would appreciate any donations/sponsorship that you give. Thanks. James
