Our beautiful family friends have been dealt a huge blow.    On Saturday, 2 June 14 year old Stephanie was at a sleepover with friends.  She awoke in the morning  and collapsed on the floor in cardiac arrest.  Her young friends, began CPR to revive her and paramedics arrived shortly after and eventually regained a pulse.  

Once in hospital she was placed on life-support where she remained in a critical condition.

The Doctors discovered that Stephanie had a large rapid growing tumor the size of a fist between her heart and her lung which caused the cardiac arrest.  Sadly,  further tests showed that Stephanie's brain had suffered significant damage and she remained unresponsive.

Stephanie was taken off life support last night and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
