Sending Heather to SFSU!!

Hello!
I recently just turned 19 this past May. I graduated from El Camino High School. I am beyond ecstatic to attend San Francisco State University in the fall. I will be majoring in Astrophysics! How cool is that? Anyway, I set up this campaign because I am asking for help with the cost to attend SFSU. My mother, who raised me as a single mom, has been disabled for 3 years and she cannot help me. With all of my financial aid that I have been awarded, inlcuding work study, I will unfortuantely be $5,000 short of my final costs. I have applied for scholarships but as of today, I have not yet been awarded any. I am not afriad to work, I am currently working at a local Regal movie theater all weekends and a few days during the week. I am not able to work as many hours as I would like. Therefore, saving up money from working extra shifts is a little difficult. The reason why I am asking for $5,000 is because that is how much I am unable to pay for housing at SFSU. I do not mind working or paying for any part of my college finances but this will take a load off of me. Through your generous donation, I won't be kicked out of my dorm! I want to be able to work but it is also vital that I have time to study and relax. Due to the fact that I will already be working through SFSU's Work Study program, taking on a second job, I'm afraid, will be too much and will not allow me vital time needed to concentrate on my education. I have been doing well with saving up any extra money that doesn't go towards bills or food for my family but unfortuantly, it is not nearly enough to cover the extra exopenses I will need. If anyone is willing to help me out, that would be so amazing! I will be beyond grateful.
