Send Pamela to UCD w/ a Computer

Hey everyone. This coming Fall Pamela will be attending UC Davis. I, Shaun, am very excited for her and I want to see her be successful. One major need of hers that has come to my attention is a computer. As a student at University in this generation a laptop computer is essential. 

So, as someone who knows and loves Pamela I want to invite you to invest in her education with me and help get her a new laptop computer. I want to get her a Mac because she has used an old Mac desktop at home for the last several years and is familiar with them. I also believe they are the best quality computers on the market right now. Finally, they offer a student discount. Here is what we are shooting for:

- a new Macbook Air 256GB Hard drive computer - $1049

- Applecare+ to cover her computer for 3 years - $229
- California state taxes - $126

I have asked for $1500 just in case she needs anything extra like a case or software. 

The deadline I am shooting for on this is July 1. That way we can get the money and buy the computer by her birthday on July 13 (so it is kind of a combined birthday/graduation/college sendoff present).

With that in mind, would you consider being extra generous and giving $75, $100, $150 or an amount that seems generous to you?
