Send Me Skydiving in Tokyo

When I was in high school, one of my best friends and I made a pact. 


We were talking about our dreams and goals for the future, and  we realized that we both had a lot to figure out, and so many things to experience.

And as we were talking, an idea sprung up that excited both of us - she, tired of feeling stuck in one place, and I, with an adventurous spirit and drive to experience all that life has to offer - decided to embrace. We wanted to go skydiving together. We knew in that moment that we had to make it happen, but we were in high school and didn't have means to make it happen. 

So we decided, what if we wait a few years, think about it a bit more (but not so long that the idea died, of course!) -- and we made our pact.

We would go skydiving together the summer after our junior year of college. Nothing was going to stop us from making it happen. Nothing.

But then life got crazy for both of us, and she became a model. I started nursing school, working 2 jobs (including most holidays) and babysitting on the side to help pay for school. 

And now, here we are, months away from the summer we vowed to make this wonderful dream come true together. And we both still want to do it as much as ever.

The only problem is, my friend, Rylee, will be spending the summer modeling in Tokyo. So the only way our dream can become a reality is if I visit her in Tokyo. And unfortunately, I do not have the financial means to make it happen. Even if I work from now until then, and pick up another job, it will be a stretch to make it happen.
