Mission to South Africa
Missions has always been a huge part of our family's story. Our parents answered the call to go to foreign lands to minister to the needs of the people there and plant churches. My mom and dad were one of the first missionaries sent to Ghana and West Africa in the 60s through Church of God World Missions. My wife and I have also found connection in being a part of Mission trips to Ghana and have supported mission efforts of other countries in West Africa.
I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity that God has presented to me. From March 9th - March 19th 2017, Michelle and I will be going to Johannesburg, South Africa with a group organized by Church of God World Missions, in Cleveland TN.
During our time, we have a few goals we want to meet.
Working in an orphanage for abandon children
Comfort and feed some villagers
Distribute gifts
Establish and Build relationships
We will also be ministering to some of the local churches in the area and conducting workshops to equip the local ministries.
I would love for you to be a part of my support team. First, you can help support our team in prayer as we prepare for our trip, our travel, and safety in our work and that our ministry will be productive.
Another way you could be involved is to help provide tax deductible financial support. We need to raise $5,000. There are also immunizations and special medicines we need for our protection.
We will be traveling under the direction of Church of God World Missions. This is an international mission’s ministry that networks individuals and churches for focused missions work. They are a non-profit ministry.
