Seguin Animal Cruelty Case

Hi my name is Katie Durham. On Friday 26 April 2019 I found a starving sick dog in the road on FM 2623 in Seguin.  I live in the area. When I went to rescue him he led me to 18 other dogs who were in similar condition. They have urgent medical needs that must be addressed. Due to the local community speaking up, the police got involved and are taking the animals away under animal cruelty charges. Local rescues and individual adoptees will be stepping in to assist once the dogs are allowed to be released from the investigation. We will need money to ensure they get healthy and fed and to a good home. If there is any extra it will be used to support local Seguin Animal Rescues but we will probably need every penny to support these dogs and the horses that were neglected as well! As the rescuer of these dogs I have coordinated with the Guadalupe Animal Control Facility and the County Sheriff to write a check to the veterinarian who will be providing care and supplies to the animal.
