SEDS-UCF "Team Incµssµs" Rocket

SEDS UCF is participating in the 1st Annual Spaceport America Cup!

We are Team Incussus and we are building a 12.5 foot tall by 6 inch diameter rocket that will be flying  10,000 feet in the air! We will be carrying an 8.8 pound payload that is also a Microgravity experiment that will be activated at apogee. The experiment will examine the effects of microgravity impacts in Martian dust simulant and will be integrated in a 3U CubeSat.

In addition to the experiment, our rocket will be propelled by a student-developed sugar motor! We wanted our rocket to stand out and we are aiming for first place.

Thanks to the UCF SGA, we were able to acquire half the funds needed for our rocket, but we need to raise the other half on our own.

We are asking for your help! Help us build this amazing rocket and help us achieve success as we travel to New Mexico and take on the competition!
