replacing a stolen camera

Asking for help is very difficult but my family needs some help. I am a touring musician which means I don't make any money. My wife and I also run a photography business. We love making art and we have always been okay with sacrificing a comfortable life with a steady paycheck in order to work in a field that we love. Most of you know we just had our second son, Ronan Ezra, about 7 weeks ago. At that same time we also had the chance to buy a new camera for me to take on more responsibility with the photography. Camera and gear is not cheap, especially for a starving artist,  so it was a big deal to be able to buy it. Yesterday we discovered that it was stolen while we were out running errands. We are devastated. Not only did we lose half of all of our gear (there's another camera and lens at home) we also lost family photos that can't be retaken for another year.  We don't have the proper insurance to cover something like this and even if we did we'd have to pay a deductible. Some of you gave offered help. If you feel lead to give, we would be so grateful. We need at least $1000 to replace what we lost.
