Help with Sean's new arm

Donation protected

My name is Sean and I'm a member of the Star Citizen community.

I came down with an aggressive case of cancer that ate my Humerus bone away when I was just turning 14.  I underwent two surgeries which ultimately left me without the use of my shoulder and with a bone structure doctors describe as "Hodge podge" and "Incredibly fragile"

I struggled for years to keep it intact, but it's lived past the predicted life expectancy & doctors are surprised that it's lasted as long as it has. They say they can't do anything for me until it breaks and are waiting for it to do so. Even then, they don't sound hopeful that the arm's mobility will be improved upon.

Nevertheless, when it gives out, something will have to be done.

We are raising funds which will be needed when it breaks,  (which can happen at any time) and I'll need it for living expenses while away from work, for extra hospitalization costs and for much of my rehabilitation.

Your help will be hugely appreciated, and will help my life in immeasurable ways.

We're also looking for people, professionals, or even innovative thinkers who may have additional solutions.

Thank you,  your support means the world to me.

-Sean

-----------Additional Details---------------

- The cancer was an aggressive form of Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma

- We found it when I broke my arm, requiring my upper Humerus bone and shoulder to be replaced with a cadaver (And attached to the lower Humerus with a plate and 6 screws)

-The cadaver broke in half at the shoulder two years later, requiring a chrome (Non-functional) artificial shoulder to be inserted temporarily, then drilled into the remaining, weakening cadaver, which is still attached to the lower original Humerus with the plate and screws.

- Doctors are surprised it is still intact, it is weakening and will break at any moment. Once it breaks, something must be done. I am hopeful new shoulder technology will be available that can restore some mobility, they are not.
