Sean Benton second inquest

Donation protected
My name is Barry Keevins and I'm a reporter.
Sean Benton from Hastings was 20 when he was shot five times in the chest at the British army Princess Royal camp near the Surrey village of Deepcut in June 1995.
An inquest soon after found he committed suicide.
Police, army and subsequent inquiries have all backed this verdict.
After a 20 year battle to have the case re-opened, a second inquest will start to hear at least three months of new evidence beginning in January 2018.
Sean's parents both died during the campaign to have the circumstances of his death re-examined.
Sean was the first of four young soldiers shot dead at the controversial army training base.
I've been covering the Deepcut Four for many years.
In 2016, I covered just about every day of the second inquest into the death of Cheryl James and I'd like to do the same for Sean Benton.
If I can hit my fund raising target, I will be able to cover my expenses which will mean I can get to and from court in Woking every day. I need money for petrol, parking, provisions and a lot of pens.
None of the major news organisations will commit to having somebody in court every day and I think this is an important enough story for an experienced reporter to be there from start to finish.
Anything you can contribute would be very helpful and gratefully received.
