Many of you know something about my husband's cancer story. We were married for 6 months when he was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer in March 2014. He went through a grueling course of chemo and radiation with hope of cure. But earlier this year he was diagnosed with a recurrence, and in May he underwent a laryngectomy with bilateral neck dissection, again with every hope of a cure.  He was recovering well, and life was settling into a "new normal", when another tumor was found. He is now facing another extensive surgery, again with the goal of a cure.

Early in this journey, I started a fundraising page but quickly shut it down after we acquired a stalker. We managed. But we are now at somewhat of a crisis point. Despite insurance, cancer is a very expensive disease. Co-pays, deductibles, travel, supplies, and lost work days have combined to produce a pile of bills, maxed out credit cards, and alot of worry over the  prospect of more surgery. Projected hospital stay is 7-10 days followed by weeks of recovery at home.

You will never know how much all the prayers and supportive notes have meant to us. Please keep them coming! It kills me to ask for any more than that, but these are not ordinary times.
