Our goal is to secure a scholarship fund for Grace, a brave little girl who was there every step of the way for her mom's ten-year battle with cancer. Alissa Hanley, Gracie's mom, was a loving and incredibly determined woman who only wanted what's best for her daughter. The best way to honor her memory is by giving her the peace of mind of knowing that Gracie will have the opportunity to pursue her dreams and reach her goals. After all, that is what Alissa wanted for her daughter most of all. Even while dealing with her treatments, she enrolled in and attended law school at NSU's Shepard Broad College of Law. It was incredibly important to Alissa to teach Gracie that she could accomplish anything she set her mind to in life. And while Grace will grow up into a smart, strong, and determined young woman (just like her mom), she can certainly benefit from our support.
